Presented by Spazio Tilde as part of ArtDate 2023, the exhibition responded to the festival’s theme, Artificio, exploring the notions of craftsmanship and artificiality. Bringing together ceramics and drawing, the exhibition examined the relationship between making and representation. Manuele's ceramic works rooted in material processes and artisanal practice were presented alongside Marisol's drawings, creating a dialogue between their works.

The exhibition took its title from the capacity of ceramics to continue expanding through the absorption of humidity from the surrounding environment. This material property became a metaphor for the continuous transformation of objects shaped by their circumstances. These ongoing processes lie at the core of the practices of Marisol Malatesta and Manuele Paratti, whose work is driven by a continuous search for a balance between aesthetics and functionality, as well as between structure and freedom.
